Hawaiian Shoyu Chicken.

5 chicken thighs , bone-in and skin on

3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons water

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

2 cloves garlic , minced

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

1/2 yellow onion , minced

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Mix together all the ingredients in a large bowl (or large ziplock baand let marinate overnight.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Bake in a baking pan for 30-35 minutes or until cooked through (to 165 degrees).
