Bourbon BBQ Sauce.

1 cup bourbon

2 cups ketchup

6 tablespoons brown sugar

6 tablespoons molasses

6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 teaspoons granulated onion

2 teaspoons granulated garlic

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper

On medium/high heat, add bourbon and ketchup to a medium-sized saucepan (about a 3-quart capacity), and whisk to combine.

Add the remaining ingredients whisking until fully incorporated.

Reduce heat to medium/low and continue cooking until the mixture has thickened and is reduced to 3 cups (about 15 minutes).

Pour sauce into heat-proof glass jars and refrigerate until needed.
