4-5 large Russet Potatoes
2 tbsp Olive oil
Garlic Salt and Pepper to taste
Bacon
Green Onions
Sour Cream
Tomato, Jalapeno- optional
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and slice them into 1/4-inch slices.
Place the potato slices into a bowl of water and soak for 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
Drain, rinse, and pat dry the potatoes. Place back into a dry bowl and coat with olive oil, pepper, and garlic salt.
Spread the potato slices into a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, flip the slices over, and bake for another 20 minutes.
Arrange the potato slices in a cast iron skillet and top with your favorite toppings.
