Grandma’s Cucumbers.

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

4 cukes, peeled, sliced thin

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1 T oil

Celery seed

In a large bowl, place prepared cukes in ice water with a little salt for 1-2 hours to make them crispy.

In a pot, cook water and sugar until clear, stirring constantly.

Let cool. Add vinegar, oil, and lots of celery seeds.

Drain cucumbers, pat dry, and mix them with the vinegar mixture. Chill overnight.
